Hunger for Wholeness: Justice, Wholeness, K-Drama and Chi
I was honored to on The Center for Christogenesis’ Hunger for Wholeness podcast with hosts Dr. Ilia Delio and Gabi Sloan. The Center for Christogenesis envisions an emerging wholeness of God, world, and humanity through the transformative power of love in our scientific age. The mission of the Center for Christogenesis is to deepen Teilhard de Chardin’s integration of science and spirituality by providing insights and practices to enkindle awareness of love at the heart of reality.
I met Ilia Delio at the Southern Lights Conference and was captivated by her theological talk on creation and God. It was wonderful to be on her podcast to talk about K-Drama, Chi, Climate Change and more. Please listen to Part 1 and Part 2 of this podcast interview.
Hunger for Wholeness: Justice, Wholeness, K-Drama and Chi with Grace Ji-Sun Kim (Part 1)
Part 1 was hosted by Ilia Delio and Gabi Sloan where we unpack my varied experiences with social justice, patriarchy, and technology spanning from Korea to the West and how I struggled to fit Eastern ideas into my Western education. We discuss the role “wholeness” plays in the new world, and my plea for planetary solidarity. What must we change to promote a more just planet?
Hunger for Wholeness: Affirmative Action and Planetary Solidarity with Grace Ji-Sun Kim (Part 2)Hunger for Wholeness
In part 2 of of the podcast we explore the realities of white privilege and affirmative action from my international perspective while lamenting theological language's ability to capture the deepest part of our experiences. Are global justice and wholeness within reach? What does planetary solidarity look like for the individual?
“We are all one people living different lives with different languages and different flavors of food that make this world so beautiful. We can all work together, become this planetary solidarity and work for wholeness.”
“In difficult times, we can only run on hope.”
