Madang Podcast and Homebrewed Christianity
Dr. Tripp Fuller is an amazing podcaster, lecturer and author. He started Homebrewed Christianity way before anyone even knew what a podcast was. His podcast was the first one I was ever invited to be a guest on.
Over the years, I have been a guest on his podcast numerous times and he made podcasting look so easy, that I decided to start Madang podcast hosted by the Christian Century. If I had known how difficult it was to create, design, produce and release a podcast, I may not have started Madang podcast. But since Tripp makes everything look easy, I was easily convinced into starting my own and now I have been podcasting for over 2 years.
In addition to his podcasting, Tripp has also been holding Theology Beer Camp for several years. Last year, it was focused on “God and experiences of God”. Many theological podcasts were invited to speak, preside and host podcast sessions. I ended up doing one panel on “Experiences of God” and a morning plenary talk on “God as Spirit”. I also, did a recording for Tripp to be used for a class down the road, was interviewed by "Rethinking Faith" podcast hosted by Josh Patterson, and was a panelist for “Theory of Atonement”. It was a full schedule of speaking, sharing, meeting new people and book signing.
This year’s Theology Beer Camp will be held Oct 19-21, 2023 in Springfield, MO. It will be another fantastic event with many podcasters, speakers, authors (with a book signing) and many special events. Please register today and use discount code ‘madanggodpod’ to get 25.00 off registration.
Homebrewed Christianity has been a wonderful ongoing sponsor of Madang podcast. I am so grateful for all the amazing theological work that Homebrewed Christianity shares with the world. Please listen to Tripp on Madang podcast as he shares his book, Divine Self-Investment.
Special Events:
I will be doing a workshop at the Presbyterian for Earth Care conference Sept 20-23 which is both in-person and virtual. Please register and join me there.
